All about me

I have been working in scholarly communication since 1997 when I worked for ChemWeb.com. We might have called that a social media company years later, but at the time it was 'the virtual community of online chemists'. I learned HTML through hard coding in txt pad and rendering the results in a Netscape browser - yes, I'm that old. I had to do it offline as the phone line was shared in our house and I couldn't spend too long on our dial up connection in case someone's mother wanted to call. Life sucked back then.
